Bobbling Snowman
thingiverse
This is a bobble-head Snowman toy. This toy use a 3D printed spring that supports it and makes it bobble. Supports are required only for the smownan body and you can use minimal infill for all parts (10% is fine). This looks best if you use the "fuzzy skin" option in your slicer (see pic for comparison to standard print). The spring mechanism is based on the excellent bobble head collection designed by 3d-printy (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5409630). Be sure to see his extensive collection of bobble-heads and other items. Bobble-Head Assembly Tips: The square spring hole in the snowman is oversized to aid assembly. Install the spring into the snowman first (crazy glue is recommended). The tool to install the spring is included here and its use is recommended to prevent damaging the spring. Finally install the spring onto the base and put the hat on top. It also has an oversized hole and so glue is also recommended. Enjoy!
