Bobblerz, or simply "Bobble", are delightful little things that bring a smile to your face every time you tap them down onto a solid surface. They bobble up and down and sideways on an internally printed spring, making it a joy to watch them in action. Just give your Bobbler a shake and watch it bobble, just like watching a fidget spinner spin. Everyone who sees them loves them, and most people want one, making them great little gifts. They're not expensive to print either, requiring only 16-18gm filament at standard scale. A range of Bobblerz .stl's is provided, so you can choose your favorite or print them all and create a family of 'Bobblerz'. You can even get creative with them by painting the eyes and mouth or pausing your machine mid-print and swapping the filament to create your own unique Bobbler/z. Bobblerz are easy to use and have fun with. Just hold the body part, then tap them down onto a solid surface, hold them down, and don't let go. This makes them bobble best. If you let go too soon, most of the energy is lost into the body through vibration, making them bobble less well or for a shorter time. The body part is important because it provides a holding mechanism independent of the internal spring but also limits the sideways spring movement, minimizing the chance of breaking them. PLA is very brittle, so we've designed four fine bridges to stop the Bobblerz from bobbling during printing. These bridges run from the top of the body inwards to the neck section and should be quick and easy to snap away. You can also add color to the facial features to make them stand out more. If you decide to do this, using an enamel paint and a very fine brush is recommended. Felt tip pens and acrylic paints are more prone to running or smearing. These prints are all easy on accurate and precise machines set up correctly. However, do not use any automated support, as it's likely to end up with a spring that isn't springy, so a Bobbler that doesn't bobble.
