Bobbins for intarsia

Last month, I met nophead and his wife who asked if I'd created many useful items for mine. Though I only made a keyring, an opportunity arrived when my wife needed help with her knitting problem involving intarsia. To assist her, I designed a tool in Tinkercad and tweaked it in Blender. She loved the result and now appreciates the potential of my 3D printer. The tool is 3mm thick with two perimeters, two solid layers, and holes to save plastic, reduce weight, and accommodate wool winding. I printed four on my Mendel90 but found manual placement more efficient than multiple prints. Watch this video at 3:30 to learn about intarsia knitting: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7G4yzCzpHk.
