Bobbin Holder (Jig) for pickup winding machine
thingiverse
So this is a bobbin holder for a pickup winding machine. The machine I'm using this for is homemade according to this tutorial: https://www.cwkshop.com/projects/pickupwinder50/ It should work on a number of machines as long as the motor shaft is the same. I designed this for this motor: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TDH4F28?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details The tolerance on the motor shaft is so tight, I had to spray a lubricant on it to remove it, so if your motor shaft is bigger, you're going to need to change the hole. On the sides there's two wells dug out. One side I put the magnet to my counter. The other hole, I made for ballast, but honestly it's so light, you may not even need ballast. The counter I'm using is this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01875612U?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details I found another bobbin holder on here, but it was made for cigar box guitars and wasn't quite what I wanted, so I designed this off of Chase's (original tutorial) plywood bobbin holder.
