Bobbin for S10 Spinning Wheel

This bobbin is designed specifically for the S10 Spinning wheel and features a drive wheel that moves the bobbin while the flyer is attached to a brake. To assemble this project, print both ends of the bobbin and attach them to a PEX tube, which can be sourced from Home Depot for a few dollars. The PEX material is soft and can be easily cut with a sharp knife. For optimal results, use glue to secure the PEX to the bobbin ends. Print Settings: Printer: Prusa I3 Rafts: Not necessary Supports: No Infill: 40% Notes: The whorl must be printed upside down with the largest pulley facing flat on the print bed. Alternatively, the opposite end can be printed either way, but it's recommended to flip it so that the small hole is at the bottom and the larger hole is at the top. This may require supports in the slicer if printing the large hole at the bottom. Post-Printing: To complete the project, you'll need a short piece of 1/2" PEX or similar water pipe, which can be obtained from most home improvement stores like Home Depot. Insert the pipe into the large holes on each end of the parts and secure it with glue, such as general-purpose Gorilla Glue or SuperGlue. You can source the necessary materials from various locations, but I was able to find them at Home Depot for a reasonable price. The "repair" pieces are approximately 2 feet long and cost around $3, allowing you to build multiple bobbins with a single piece.
