Bobbin for Ashford CS2 Spinning Wheel
thingiverse
I crafted this bobbin for a buddy in need. I didn't have access to a CS2, so its performance remains untested. The design was loosely based on my S-10 bobbin build, but the CS2 is significantly larger - it will still fit comfortably within a 200mmx200mm print bed. The whorl's diameter measures 190mm. A 10mm bore and overall length of 290mm complete its specifications. Print Settings Printer Brand: Prusa Printer: Prusa Steel Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Infill: 50% Post-Printing Once you've printed both end pieces, use a plumbing pipe for the center. Half-inch PEX or CPVC will suffice. You can acquire one at any home improvement store for a couple of dollars. Cut the pipe to about 11 inches (280mm). Test fit it on your wheel before final gluing. Some trimming may be necessary to ensure a proper fit.
