A 3D printed bobbin for the 3D printed shuttle. The bobbin is composed of an octagonal shape shaft which allows it to be printed horizontally. The shaft can be used alone or you can use it with a conical shaped bobbin guards on both ends. The guards snap at the end of the shaft. You have to experiment with your horizontal hole expansion to get a good fitting, depending on how accurate your printer setup. You may need to sand down the end part of the shaft to get a good fit. Friction alone can hold the guards in place. You do not need to glue it. Total bobbin length with guards install is about 130mm. The shaft alone is 120mm.
