Boba Fett/Mandalorian Helmet Replica 1:1
thingiverse
After purchasing several Boba Fett helmet files that failed to meet my expectations, I took it upon myself to design a new version with the goal of achieving 501st approval. I am particularly fond of Raff Fett's helmet, but his files are too low-poly and sanding is an extremely time-consuming process, as I have personally experienced after building one of his helmets. This helmet adheres to a similar construction style. To complete it, you will need: - A few 4mm x 1mm round neodymium magnets to secure the range finder and ear cap in place. - Two 5mm red LEDs for the RF (you can use RF hollow if you prefer to add electronics). - Raff Fett's MQ-1 circuit board, which is optional for a prop but required for 501st approval. This design is not intended for replication or molding for profit purposes; it is a free product created with the goal of providing everyone with access to a high-quality Boba Fett helmet. I apologize to those who had printed it and encountered issues. Edit 8/6/20: Due to popular demand, I have revised the shell to be significantly thicker. I have also made minor adjustments to the file for increased accuracy, including bringing in the cheeks further inwards as some users mentioned they were too far out. Additionally, I have widened the entire helmet by 5%.
