Boba Fett Articulated Toy
thingiverse
This mashup combines cool articulated toys from bqLabs and a Boba Fett Helmet model. More models from the collection will be posted soon. I appreciate your enthusiasm, but please don't tip me - instead, support bqLabs for their exceptional work. My first model had some rough edges, and printing Boba Fett's antenna was difficult due to its thin design. Printing with rafts is necessary for the helmet, but on certain slicers (like Cube), the rafting can be too strong to remove from inside areas. The original bqLabs toy printed without rafts, which made a big difference. Cura did an excellent job slicing and adding lightweight rafts. The Tinkercad file for this project is now available for anyone who wants to take it further. Print Settings Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer: Printrbot Plus Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Infill: 20% Notes: I used a very old Printerbot LC, and rafting was necessary for the helmet edges. Design Process I combined STL files using Tinkercad with great results. The website produces highly reliable STL files. Here's a link to the Tinkercad file for those who want to continue tinkering with this project: https://tinkercad.com/things/7EHPSMb6467
