I'm excited to share that Update 3/25/2020 Version 1.2 is now available with a fresh new design featuring rounder corners. Recently, Bob from RetroRGB approached me about creating a custom back shell for his RetroUSB controller inside a budget-friendly NES controller mod. I dove headfirst into the project and decided to scrap the front shell from the cheap knockoff controller, opting instead for a completely 3D printed solution. This way, you won't have to worry about buying extra parts for this mod. The result is nothing short of amazing, and for me personally, it's been a huge comfort boost with its classic design. When it comes to printing, I've designed the back shell with 0.2mm layers in mind, along with a 60% infill rate. What's more, you won't need any supports during the printing process. To bring your project to life, simply print both halves and reuse the original buttons, circuit board, battery, and screws from the RetroUSB controller.
