Bob, devourer of phones
thingiverse
Meet Bob. Got some old Z9 Mini ASIC tubes laying around? Bob will hold 10 phones* in a standard format 120x120 Z9 Mini-length ASIC chassis. The density of 10 phones can easily be cooled by a standard 120mm case fan, don't need to use the ASIC fan (or use it with a speed controller and turn it down as far as it will electrically allow, or temp-controlled).Max 80mm wide by 10mm thick, min 68mm wide (Galaxy S8). CAT phones will not fit period unless you take the MB out (different design coming for those beautiful SBCs). Pixel phones need to be slotted in backwards due to their camera bump; don't edit the model for a notch to make it work because it introduces a ton of airflow restriction right at the front with this spacing and they cascade heat. Galaxy S23+ is the thickest (camera bump) I've tested so far that fits.Note 2: Print 2 for a Z9 mini case, push the first one all the way in against the fan and then hot glue or stickie the second one way towards the back so it holds the phones in-line and can't lean towards each other to restrict airflow. Don't have a longer S9-style tube to design or test with yet.
