12 pounder Dahlgren Boat Howitzer in 1:36 scale for use as a static display on the ship's launch of my model 1850's sloop of war. Can be scaled down to 1:76, maybe, but it's very spindly and hard to print the smaller it gets - not that it's an easy thing to print at this scale or larger. The boat howitzer is designed to be used in the ship's boats as well as being transferred to a field carriage and used on-shore as a field gun. This model's barrel can be placed on either the boat sled or the field carriage using the separate pins for each carriage. PS; this is a low-poly model, and as such the barrel is a bit faceted. I will make a new barrel that'll be rounder and smoother soon to replace this one. PPS: I actually got to a new barrel much sooner than I thought, so the barrel.stl included is much less faceted and smoother than the original.
