boardgame house
thingiverse
This house design, originating from the boardgame "Kingdom Builder," can also be utilized in various other boardgames. The instructions were created using a Prusa Mendel 3D printer with ABS material and a 0.5 mm nozzle at 220°C temperature on an uncoated glass carrier. To optimize printing, it is suggested to employ the "Multiply" feature or combine several houses in one print run. Printing only one house may result in overheating or significantly increased printing time if using the "Cool" option. The best settings discovered involved a "Solid Surface Thickness" of 1 for material reduction and 1 "Extra Shell on Sparse Layers," but with an "Infill Solidity" of 0.0, producing an empty interior with two shells. Alternative configurations featured only one shell and "Infill Solidities" of either 0.25 or 0.0, though single-shell printing led to numerous roof holes. Nonetheless, an "Infill Solidity" of 0.0 provides sufficient sturdiness.
