This is my entry for Joel Telling's spool holder design contest. The design prints flat in 3 sections and quickly assembles with a snap fit. It attaches to the board via two sturdy hooks and features a clever hinged catch at the bottom that minimizes movement when loading the spool. Spools are loaded just like on the popular toilet paper holder that's been making waves in Facebook groups everywhere - simply lift the spool up so it pushes the two hinged-support bars until they drop into place inside the center of the spool. To remove a spool, simply pull it straight up and it comes out with ease.
