Board Buttress / Brace 90°

This simple design securely joins two boards at a 90° angle. It's specifically designed for 1.25" x 2" boards (31mm x 51mm) with rounded edges. I used this attachment to connect legs to a center bed support, but its applications extend far beyond that, accommodating any project using lumber of this size. Two files are included: one with walls that are 2mm thick and another with walls that are 3mm thick. Both designs feature the same inner spacing. The tolerances in this model are extremely tight, requiring me to slightly file or sand the inner surfaces to fit the wood snugly into place. However, it's better for them to be overly secure than have any play if they'll be supporting a significant load. I highly recommend printing these models using PETG, ABS, or another strong material if there will be considerable force applied to them. The Fusion f3d file is included for anyone who wants or needs to resize it.
