I modelled this 3D plane in Sketchup 8 and later converted it into multiple formats for use in other programs. The original file type is .skp, but I exported it to all the others. I set up a scene for 3ds Max 2016 that was then rendered using Vray 3.00. My own template did most of the work on this one - thanks to my creativity and know-how it turned out looking pretty sharp! It didn't do very well in Air Transat's review though. Four hours went into getting all the little details just right, but a big part of that time was spent making the colors match exactly, then drawing each logo carefully with some patience. Only a few areas are textured - you'll see the plane's propellers and the UK flag if you look closely. That BOAC message really lit a fire under me! The tag name may also show up as B•O•A•C or just plain old B.O.A.C, so don't be confused. Tracing all these tiny logos was quite an exercise for my skills - I'd say I got it almost spot on too. I did model this plane as G-ANVL because that's the best info I had, even if someone might say G-ARVL is more correct - whatever! As a bonus though you'll see all your favorite words in there: B•O•A•C or sometimes B.O.A.C.
