The Bölkow Bo 105 is a compact, twin-engine, multi-mission helicopter built by Bölkow out of Ottobrunn, West Germany. It was the world's first light twin-engine helicopter and the first rotorcraft capable of executing aerial stunts such as inverted rolls. The Bo 105 boasts an advanced hingeless rotor system that, at its time of introduction in 1970, marked a groundbreaking innovation for helicopters. Assembly of the Bo 105 started up at Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm (MBB), which had recently come together through merger.
