This is a holder for glass microelectrode with 1.5 mm OD and BNC connector, which is common in electrophysiology rigs.The published model has a vented design (the pressure in the microelectrode is atmospheric), one can convert it into pressurized desigh (used in patch-clamp) by installing a small piede of PEEK chromatograhy capillary into vent hole. Parts list: 1. 3D printed body and cap 2. Silver wire 60mm long and 0.2-0.5 mm in diameter 4. 1 cm of silicone tube with I.D. 1.0mm and O.D. 3.0mm Assemly: 1. Tap the threads in both body and cap. For resin prints depending on resin properties it might be better to tep the threads before post-curing. 2. Solder the silver wire to BNC connector central pin. 3. Place the pin into BNC connector. 4. Put 2-3mm piece of silicone tube on the wire. 5. Screw the holder body into BNC connector 6. Put another 2-3 mm piece of silicone tube on the wire. 7. Screw the holder cap on the holder body.
