BNC Calibrator Holder
thingiverse
Here's a holder for BNC Calibrators that fits any VNA. You'll need to create or purchase ($big bucks) a Short, Open and Load calibrator, which this just keeps together in one place. They are not connected to each other in any way. I created a set of BNC calibrators using IMSAI Guy's YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0kIH492DcY The Load uses tiny surface mount (SMT) resistors, two 100-ohm ones. If you choose to use two 1/8-watt carbon resistors instead, the holder will need to be thicker to accommodate them in the hole. If modifying the file is not an option, send me a personal message with the required depth and I'll send you a revised STL. There are other DIY BNC kit descriptions available online. BNC bulkhead connectors like these have 3/8-32 threads, which I've molded into the model since it's not a common tap that most people will have on hand. Apply a tiny drop of silicone dry lubricant to the threads before screwing them in. PLA isn't self-lubricating at all. Once you've started one by hand and ensured it's not crossthreaded, attach a male BNC and use it for leverage to screw it down until it's fully seated. As always, I've included the F360 file so you can make any mods or adjust the dimensions to match your printer's capabilities.
With this file you will be able to print BNC Calibrator Holder with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on BNC Calibrator Holder.
