The trip reset knob was missing on my early K1200LT. All that was left was a torn gaiter and an M3 stud. This replacement knob is 6mm diameter and 15mm long with a 3mm hole. It was printed in PLA as I can't see it getting hot enough to deform, however it could be printed in PETg or ABS of course.
