BMW K1200 RS front indicator holding screw
thingiverse
The indicators of the K1200 RS are being held by a strange steel clamp that tends to loose teeth (and thus become dysfunctional). In the forum in: https://wiki.bmw-bike-forum.info/index.php/Klammern_f%C3%BCr_Blinker_vorn_%28RS%29 there is a patch that reaplces the clamps (see third foto, lower left) by rubber pads used to lead cables through cases. Alas, the bolts used on the motorcycle are made of steel aqnd thus rather difficult to create on your own. The small plastic parts to be printed here shall be combined with a screw ISO 7380 M5x25mm. They act a a kind of spacer to keep the screw heads far enough away from the bike to mount the indicators with the rubber pads installed. I super-glued the screws into the plasic part, but it should work as well without glue. I used a little grease to get the rubber pads over the screws, and the indicators now seem to fit a lot better than they did previously. Rubber pads have the size as in picture: B = 3 mm, d = 8 mm, D = 16 mm and the holes are 12 mm in diameter, although the pads should fit into 11 mm holes.
