I took apart the center console on my BMW E61 and found that a crucial part had snapped off, leaving me with a broken mess. To fix it, I carefully extracted the remaining plastic components and designed a replacement piece using 3D printing technology. Once printed, I attached it to the original mount with two screws, making sure everything was securely fastened. With the new piece in place, my center console is now functioning perfectly once again.
