The BMW e39 is a great car to upgrade with a new DSP or HiFi system. To do this, you'll need an adapter ring to mount the tweeter in the rear doors. The original grille is usually hidden behind the stereo setup. To access it, gently pry open the four clips on the back and lift out the grille. Next, use a step drill to bore through the blocked hole. Once you've done that, simply insert the tweeter into its printed holder and attach it to the two existing plastic dowels.
