BMW E38 B Pillar Trim Clip Fix

Replacement clip posts for the upper B pillar trim on E38 BMWs must be printed in ABS to securely bond using ABS cement. Other plastics and glues may work but solvent bonding is a tough act to follow. Instructions: 1. Trim the cross-shaped features on the trim down to 3-5mm high. 2. Fill the bottom of the part with wet ABS cement. 3. Press the part over the trimmed cross features until the bottom surfaces meet. 4. Reinstall the trim into the retaining clips without the metal insert, with the cement still wet. 5. When dry, reinstall the trim with the metal trim retaining clip securely in place.
