BMW E36 Double Din Stereo fascia

For years now, I've been itching to install a double din system in my E36. With the rise of mechless units that tend to be shallower than standard ones, this option has become much more feasible since I no longer need to modify the heater box behind. Someone has already developed an E36 tablet fascia and it's available for sale. This is a work in progress... how far along is it? Well, I'm typing this as my first prototype is being printed. Currently, this design lacks a way to mount it securely. It's purely a trial fit and take it from there. If you happen to remix this before I do and get it fitting perfectly, then I look forward to seeing your results!
