BMW Coil Puller (Fits R1200RT LC)
thingiverse
Tested on a 2014 R1200RT (liquid cooled model). Not sure how it fits others, but I believe 2013 onwards are all the same. Prints without the need for supports, with plenty of width/strength in the base as some coils are really hard to come out. Given the extra width, it may need a little persuasion to fit past the cylinder head, but it does squeeze into position with a little nudge. Tugging on the coil a little also helps it snap into place. Make sure you print with enough top/bottom layers to cover the entire floor of the puller, right up to the lip which hooks onto the coil. This will give the base (where the strength is required) 100% infill so it does not break. Printer settings: 0.2mm layer height. 10 top/bottom layers (2mm thick). 80% infill. 0.8mm walls. Print at higher temperatures and slower speeds to prevent layer separation.
