BMW Accelerator Cable Bushing
thingiverse
The rubber bushing that connects the accelerator (throttle) cable to the pedal on my buddy's 1997 BMW E36 328i disintegrated so we modeled and printed this so he could drive around until the new one came in. It fits tight and worked well over 50 miles. The picture of the rubber bushing is what disintegrated. Of course I forgot to take a picture of it installed, but I grabbed that last picture from the forms. You can see the cable running through the firewall and into the rubber bushing. That bushing fits in high in a hole on the pedal rod. To install this part, put the double ended half in the hole first, pull the throttle cable crimp and cable through, install the other half in the hole, and let the cable back through the part until the cable crimp sits inside the cutout in this part.
