The Victron Battery Monitor now comes with Bluetooth Smart technology, eliminating the need for cables and clutter in your RV or boat. You can monitor the device remotely using the Victron Connect app on your smartphone or tablet within range of the Bluetooth signal. This case allows you to mount the BMV-712 display unit on a bulkhead so it's visible when viewing the compartment where it's housed, providing easy mounting and some level of protection for the device. Two holes are available in the back lid for connecting the UTP cable that links the BMV display to the Shunt, as well as another hole for connecting the BMV to a CCGX or Venus GX control unit using a VE.Direct cable. There's enough space to accommodate small wires accessing the relay pins on the back of the unit if desired.
