Big Mess Of Wires (BMOW) produces a most-excellent Floppy Emu for various vintage Apple hardware. On the Apple IIgs, amongs others, it can emulate a SmartDisk hard drive but to be able to boot from those disk images on the IIgs, you need the Daisy Chainer.More info at https://www.bigmessowires.com/shop/product/daisy-chainer/ Unlike Floppy Emu however, this controller board does not have an enclosure, leaving you with electronics open in the air. Furthermore, the absence of support can cause a strain on the 3.5" drive connector. This model is an enclosure for the Daisy Chainer. Hope that your 3D printer has high precision because this enclosure is modeled with micron precision, ensuring a fit of the board that is so snug, you dont need screws to assemble it.Internal board support pegs are there to ensure the board does not suffer torsion when connecting the drive connectors. The internal supports are have run-through cavities allowing you to optionaly intert 3mm Ø pegs to hold everything shut. Alternatively you can pierce trough the bottom to use M3x10 screws that will bire right in.
