BMK Snap-on Magnetic Trim
thingiverse
Trim designed for the excellent build-your-own mechanical keyboard and keypad (https://www.boltind.com) created by Ian at Bolt Industries. This trim does more than look nice. With the addition of 6mm x 6mm magnets the keyboard and keypad can lock together. If needed the magnets can be removed by pushing something (like a small Allen wrench) through the hole behind the magnet. This is a remix of the decorative trim I designed (). Assembly - Insert the magnets into the keyboard and keypad trim. - Loosen the screws holding the top of the keyboard and keypad on and then snap the trim to the posts. - Where the two pieces of trim meet in the front of the keyboard and keypad, slot the triangle tab into the slot of the right-hand trim. - Once installed, tighten the screws.
