BMG/ V6 w/Endoscope Mount REMIX
thingiverse
I needed a customized mount for my hotend to accommodate an endoscope. I opted for a 7mm diameter scope, which required some creative thinking in terms of design and placement. The resulting mount features a convenient hole for securing the cam with a zip-tie, ensuring it stays firmly in place even during intense printing sessions. To prevent the cam from twisting unexpectedly, I applied hot glue to hold it steady. A flexible cable is highly recommended, as semi-rigid ones may struggle to keep up with the gantry's movement on the X-axis. This design is heavily inspired by Hangtight's original work on Thingiverse (3241793), which featured a brilliant mount for BMG direct drive systems complete with an adjustable cooling duct. My specific implementation showcases my Ender3Pro, which boasts a BMG clone, v6 heatsink, and a volcano hot end. For those interested in seeing the endoscope in action, I've included a video sample on YouTube (wsFFzctOB_E).
