BMG Extruder Mount for Anycubic i3 Mega

<p>Designed a mount for the Bondtech BMG (and its clones) extruder for my Anycubic i3 Mega so it can work with the X axis cable chains with adequate clearance.</p><p>For v1: Use pancake stepper motor to ensure clearance if you are using a rear mounted 5015 blower fan duct for parts cooling.</p><p>For v2: stock NEMA17 stepper motor can be used as I've adjusted the mount to be able to still fit a stock motor with space for heat sink without reducing the build volume.</p><p>The use of v2 would be recommended.&nbsp;</p><h3>Print Settings</h3><p><strong>Printer Brand:</strong></p><p>Anycubic</p><p><strong>Printer:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>All-metal Mega</p><p><strong>Rafts:</strong></p><p>No</p><p><strong>Supports:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Yes</p><p><strong>Resolution:</strong></p><p>0.2</p><p><strong>Infill:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>75</p><p><strong>Filament:</strong> eSUN ABS+ Black</p><p><br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Notes:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Put support blockers at the holes for NEMA 17 screws as it can be printed without supports over there.</p><p>Set wall thickness to be 1.6mm with wall line count to be 4 if you are using the 0.4mm nozzle for added strength.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Category: 3D Printer Parts</p>
