Remix for Hero Me Gen 5 hotend mount and fan duct system for the Ender 3/Pro Please see https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4713338 - original design by scaryPug. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Edit 09/09/2021 Added my edited HMG5 fan mount and also the edited gantry plate which will support Ender3/Ender3 Pro X gantry mounting holes. As labelled, the gantry mount is 3mm shorter by reducing the height of the hotend standoff. Therefore it will fit with the 3mm shorter BMG mount and give 3mm more in the Y axis (weigh a little less too). To account for the change in the hot-end position, I shorted the HMG5 fan mount by 3mm as well near the back of the mount and tried to tidy up the model a bit. Print either flat or the whole model at a 45 degree orientation. All my parts are printed in PETG - this is probably preferable in general if able. //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// *Please note relative to the stock mounting standoffs, my BMG direct drive adaptor is +6mm Y offset, but relative to the standard 9mm offset of the hero me gen 5 it is 3mm shorter - hope this provides clarity on what measurements we are referencing off. I've remixed the mounting holes to be able to use this on my Ender 3 Pro with different spaced mounting holes. My current iteration I've been using I forgot to make a hole cut-out and had to use my drill - this should be fixed in the current version I've uploaded. STEP files included (modified from scaryPug's version) I've included two versions - the same stepper positioning as scaryPug's version as well as a 3mm offset version. In my use case I have a 23mm pancake stepper motor and wanted to preserve as much of my Y bed space as possible. This allows me to still clear my Y extrusions with my stepper (if you had a 20mm stepper you could in fact have a 6mm offset!) but correspondingly I had to cut down the hotend fan mount and gantry plate by 3mm. I've been using this for a little while now with absolutely no issues - working perfectly for me!
