BMG and X axis Prusa (steel/bear/zaribo/mk2) NO filament sensor
thingiverse
Hello everyone, I wanted to adapt these different fantastic designs to my old steel Prusa printer. I'm sharing the links below so you can take a look: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3254804 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3226689 Here's what I changed: Extruder: - Some misalignment on the filament path needed to be corrected. - Unfortunately, I don't have a filament sensor, so I removed the slot. - A clip for the extruder wires was added, found on Cad Grab and modified for my steel Prusa. (I use an old version of the steel Prusa, so the clip can be thickened if necessary.) - The space to hold the longer shaft for NEMA was increased. - Brass insert M3 instead of square nut were used. - A 10x3mm shaft was used for alignment pin. - A hole for a 3x10mm screw was added to secure the NEMA. - In the fan mount, if you use a longer screw, you can use it as a blockage for the V6. X Axis: - The distances of the rod to housing were changed to 375x8mm rod. - The hole for the brass nut for the Z was changed (I don't have a POM nut). - Anti-vibration Ninjaflex was added for the nut. I use an endstop holder from Prusa Tools. Included: - A STEP file for easy modification - An F3D file for modifying with F360 UPDATE 8/2/2019: - A new hole for another 3x10 alignment pin was added. - The fan nozzle was remixed to make a smoother internal surface and housing in my extruder. - A new version of cable holder for the Prusa steel.
