BM Drying Box Solution

## About The design is a straightforward solution to print a drying box. One box to rule them all! It contains three simple elements: 1. **Base tiles**, elevated with space for desiccant on the floor, which allow airflow and can be coupled together with zip-ties in order to form a grid for various box sizes. 2. **Desiccant towers**, which can be filled with silica gel and placed vertically on the base grid. They are designed to be snap-on but contain slots for zip-tie placement in other types of setups. 3. A **70mm fan mounting ceiling-tile**, with desiccant gel space in the path of the flow. It is designed to maximize drying efficiency and avoid having two humidity levels in big boxes. The design incorporates holes for neodymium magnet placement for a screw-free mounting & moving while the box is sealed. ## Instructions ### Base Tile * Print as many as you like, and adjust the orientation to fit your box size. * Tie them together using the zip-tie holes to form a grid. * If desired, also fix the spool holders on the grid * Fill the box with 3-5cm of desiccant and place the grid on top. Please allow some air to flow beneath the tile's surface. ### Desiccant Tower * Fill it with silica gel * Screw it * Slide it into the desired position on the base-grid or hang it using the mounting hole from the ceiling, based on your box's design ### Drying Fan **Warning: This part is the hardest to print and you need to use PrusaSlicer** For convenience purposes, I have attached some pre-sliced 3mf files which can be used as reference for your printer. This is the only way currently to create good mesh grid walls which allow airflow. You can adjust the density/shape of the mesh by modifying said profiles or use the STL provided to make your own. * Print all the parts and make sure to print 4 spacers. * Use 4 m3 screws to close the desiccant container storage. * Mount the fan with the spacers. * Fill it and close the refill lid. * If desired, to use the magnet slots pause/stop the print early and slide in neodymium magnets from eBay into them. Heating the plastic will help with placing them and sealing them, or alternatively use hot glue or Sugru. _PS: The spool holders displayed in the pictures are the Prusa Mini Spool Holders_
