A Great Clock Project that I wanted to enhance with additional features. Below is the list of enhancements made: Original build - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4207524 Improved 3D Printing Performance I separated the white face from the shell for easier printing, then glued it back together for a stronger bond. The LED mount was also modified for easier installation without altering the Core or template. Please collect the files from the original post. Updated Firmware Code The included INO file contains all the necessary information to guide you through creating the header file content. Alternatively, you can hard code the credential directly into the ino file. The original post features two separate ino files which I have combined into one for convenience. App-Controlled Functionality I utilized the BLYNK platform to design a user-friendly interface for this project. A NodeMCU V 1.0 was used as the primary component. If you are new to BLYNK, note that it provides 2000 points for app widgets by default. However, I'm not sure if 2000 points will be sufficient for this project. If not, consider omitting the brightness slider or color offset features. Key Features: * OTA firmware updates after the initial upload * Change the clock face color using the app * HR color offset allows different colors for hour digits * Brightness sliders enable custom brightness settings for both downlight and clock face * The auto button syncs the slider to light sensor value * The random button randomly changes the clock face color every 5 seconds (delay time can be adjusted in the ino file) * After nodeMCU reset, Random color selection will revert to auto mode. * The clock maintains previously selected colors for both minute and hour digits. * After a reset, brightness is set from the sensor. * At night, the clock turns off; you can then use the slider to turn it on.
