Update 30.01.2021: After the top plate losened and broke at the mount hole, I've adjusted the wholes position and printed it with PETG and 40% infill. I also used some longer screws for mounting the ESC on the top plate. Description ==================== These adapter plates allow you to mount the BLX185 ESC onto the ARRMA 3s Typhon without the requirement to lift the body (with e.g. the Kraton body mount parts) when using the BLX185 mount for 3s vehicles you can find on thingiverse as well. The adapter plates and the BLX185 ESC are mounted between the motor and the stock receiver box. The power switch can be placed on the stock receiver box. Please note that the motor size is then limited to 680mm. Model files ==================== - SubPlateOptimized.stl – Being mounted at the bottom onto the existing holes in the chassis. - TopPlateOptimized.stl – Being mounted on top of the sub-plate where you finally can mount the BLX185 ESX. Installation instructions ==================== - Based on the first image, the sub plate must be mounted onto the existing screw holes of the chassis between the motor mount and the receiver box using two M3x8 screws. - Then the top plate must be mounted onto the sub plate using two M3x10 screws. - Finally the ESC must be mounted onto the top plate using two M3x10 screws. - The ESC power switch can simply be mounted on its default position on top of the receiver box Required parts ==================== - 2x M3x8 screws - 4x M3x10 screws
