BLV mgn12 3D Printer mod MONO ZETA
thingiverse
Evolution of the Z axis of the famous and highly copied BLV_mgn12_3D_Printer transformed into a single-motor Z-axis. This modification allows for the use of a single Z motor placed at the top that controls a closed belt, which in turn drives two solid pulleys connected to the Tr8. This way, the X axis lift occurs simultaneously on both sides without the inconvenience of misalignment caused by different friction levels between the two lifting mechanisms or lack of synchronization of the two Z motors. Result: The Z axis is always perfectly parallel to the bed, and the bed remains perfectly level. + + + Materials + + + - Printed parts - 1 motor gear with a 20th bore and 5 mm diameter - 6 pulleys with a 20th bore and 5 mm diameter - 2 gears with a 32th bore and 8 mm diameter Construction in progress, details to be provided soon...
