Combining an IR sensor or a BL touch is an excellent method for compensating for minor height discrepancies in the heating bed. A fundamental levelling of the plate, however, remains absolutely necessary. The stipulations were as follows: - The mounting frame is always securely attached. - The digital counter can be easily mounted or removed. - A large area of the bed must be thoroughly checked. To secure attachment, 8x3mm permanent magnets are utilized.
