About ==== This upgrade for Bens amazing BLV MGN cube introduces larger belts and reinforced belt mounts while maintaining compatibility as much as possible. This means that you can still use the original BLV setup and simply replace it with reworked parts. This upgrade is designed for 2040 extrusions with 6mm slots and 6mm bore, however Misumi extrusions (6mm slot but 5mm bore on each end) may also work. You have the freedom of choice: You can either build this upgrade with HTD 3M (9 or 10mm wide) or GT2 (9mm wide) belts. If you choose to go with HTD, use a 12T or 14T motorpulley. You will need 20T idlers (or ball bearings with an OD of approximately ~18mm). If you decide to stick with wider GT2 belts, use a 20T pulley and 30T idlers (or again ballbearings with ~18mm OD). Note that the usage of ballbearings and GT2 is untested as the beta test printer was built with POWGE HTD 3M 20T idlers, POWGE HTD 3M 12T pulleys, and POWGE HTD 3M 10mm belts.
