BLV mgn cube drilling jig
thingiverse
I developed a compact support tool to ensure perfectly aligned rows of holes in walls. For instance, if you want to begin from the left side of the wall, attach the jig to the left and top ledges of the wall. Next, drill the first hole (88 mm) through the jig. Leave the jig in place and insert an M3 screw through the jig into the newly drilled hole. Now you can drill the next hole (distance 90 mm), as illustrated. The end stop is designed for walls with a thickness of at least 3 mm. You can also start from the opposite side (right ledge). The jig is specifically made for M3 screws. Additionally, you can increase the holes in the jig to 4 mm and insert a brass tube (4.0mm x 3.2mm x 0.4mm, length 5mm). This will enhance the mechanical resistance of the holes in the jig. You can also utilize the 5 mm edges of the jig as a stencil for filing the edges of the walls.
