Blurrg-1120 Blaster Pistol

The Blurrg-1120 blaster pistol boasts nine distinct firing modes, featuring both single-shot and double-shot capabilities. Its design is inspired by the formidable Blurrg creature, native to Ryloth, a planet where its manufacturer, Eirriss Ryloth Defense Tech, is based. My rendition of this pistol draws heavily from the Star Wars: Battlefront II version, serving as my primary reference point. The Blurrg-1120 has also been featured in the animated series Star Wars: Rebels, wielded by Hera Syndulla. I created this asset over several days as a personal challenge to regain my momentum, aiming to hone my skills before university work intensifies now that I've returned for the next semester. Given my recent portfolio drought due to academic commitments, I'm thrilled with the outcome and perceive noticeable improvement in my texturing techniques. This game-ready asset was modeled in 3DS Max and textured at 2k quality using Substance Painter.
