Blunt Ice Scoop

I'm going to reload this with the image oriented properly so I can get an accurate view. I don't recommend printing in the orientation shown here because it's not ideal. Anyway, I was looking for an ice scoop that would keep my hands out of the ice tray and prevent me from constantly fumbling cubes onto the kitchen tile. The scoops on Thingiverse weren't meeting my needs - they either required a lot of support due to curves or had to be resized for my 13cmx13cm Davinci Jr tray, but ended up being too tiny to function properly. So I designed this scoop with a blunt face that's been beveled to maximize scoop volume while keeping the overall dimensions compact. Its square shape makes it easy and quick to build without supports or rafts needed. I print onto blue painters tape. This particular model was sized to fit into the side of my fridge's ice bucket, so I don't have to pull the tray out and away from the ice maker (8cm wide). I glued a magnet on the back so I could stick it on my fridge for convenience. It's not a fancy object, but it's simple and quick to build and works well both while scooping and bringing ice out of the fridge to your cup. This scoop holds 5-8 large ice cubes, which is plenty for a glass of ice water.
