Bluetooth Speaker ND65 2.5"
thingiverse
I designed my own Bluetooth speaker from scratch, taking the time to create a custom design that suited my needs. The printing process was relatively easy, but it did require some patience as it took around 20 hours in total to print out the lid and the speaker box. I printed without any supports, which resulted in a slightly stringy top on the speaker hole, but I was still pleased with the overall appearance. If you're feeling adventurous, you can try printing without supports too - just be aware that it might affect the quality of your final product. My design is specifically tailored for Dayton Audio ND65-8 2-1/2" speakers, which are a popular choice among audio enthusiasts. Here's a list of parts I used to bring my Bluetooth speaker to life: * Speaker Drivers: You can find these on Parts Express - https://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-nd65-8-2-1-2-aluminum-cone-full-range-neo-driver-8-ohm--290-206 * Bluetooth Amplifier: I picked mine up from Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01I9KV7F4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 * Battery Management Board: This little board helps keep your batteries in check during charging, and you can find it on Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0711J3PBR/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 * Buck Converter: If you're using a higher voltage power source like I was with my 19v laptop charger, you might need this to step it down to the right voltage for your battery pack. You can find it on Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XRN7NFQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 * Charging Port: I used a Dell laptop charging cable, but you can also use other compatible cables, and you can find the charging port on Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DXM5G73/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 * Power Switch: Make sure to check the orientation of your power switch before assembling it, as I did with mine. You can find it on Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007B86Z94/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 * Battery: I used old 18650 Laptop Battery Cells wired in series to give me the right voltage for my setup.
