bluetooth headset ear hook replacement

Hello, this is my initial post with the hope that it will be helpful. I recently broke the ear hook of my Sony VH-001 Bluetooth headset, and unfortunately, the manufacturer's support refused to send a replacement. Consequently, I decided to create my own ear hook, which is slightly thicker and shaped differently than the original but serves its purpose effectively. If you need to adjust the clip, use a sharp blade or an old solder iron. To replicate this process, start by taping the broken parts together. Then, utilize your desktop scanner to obtain a 2D image of the assembly. After cleaning up the picture, convert it into a vectored object using Inkscape software. Next, employ the OpenSCAD export module (e.g., thing:25036) in Inkscape and proceed with slicing and printing!
