This small housing shelters electronic components needed to charge a Bluetooth Headset using the power supply from the Siemens Gigaset S810. The Gigaset S810 utilizes a power supply that charges the mobile telephone, providing 4 V on output but delivering 7.2 V, an unusual voltage for original parts, necessitating measurement. To rectify this, I employ this step-down converter: http://www.ebay.de/itm/DC-6V-40V-To-5V-3A-Double-USB-Charge-DC-DC-Step-down-Converter-Module-DP-/111856162513?hash=item1a0b2596d1:g:IYQAAOSwZ1lWeW17, and this USB adapter: DELock Adapter USB micro-B male to USB2.0 A-male, required for connecting the Bluetooth headset. To link the converter to the power supply, I simply attach it to the wire of the power supply. Initially, I aimed to fasten the housing for the step-down converter to the base station of the mobile phone (hence two holes in the housing), ultimately securing it with plastic glue and achieving a perfect fit.
