Bluetooth ear cuff

At Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, under instructor Julian Hurrle's guidance, I created luxury Bluetooth ear cuffs inspired by XAMR's "Human Head." To enhance the functionality of this jewelry piece, I integrated it with wireless technology to serve as a second hand security for users who often lose their Bluetooth earbuds. Initially, I was intrigued by the concept of facial piercings and decided to reimagine an entire outer ear gilded with gold for a futuristic look. However, I wanted it to serve a purpose too. Inspired by a video post about a deaf baby hearing his mother's voice for the first time, I integrated a hearing aid into my ear cuffs design. The plastic version can be 3D printed on a Lulzbot Taz 6 with any color of PLA.
