Blueshift - Hex Container
thingiverse
A humble tile keeper designed to prevent tiles from careening wildly out of control within their box - rubber bands inevitably damage tiles over time, while ziplock bags represent a less-than-ideal solution. Allowing them to frolic freely in the box is simply asking for chaos. This arrangement suited my preferences much better. Each cage can accommodate up to 26 tiles, making two cages sufficient for the 51 tiles that come with the game. Tolerances are already built-in for ABS materials, eliminating the need for sanding or filing; however, those printing PLA may find the fit slightly too loose. In all other respects, simply print and you're good to go! Inspired by KrisWall's tile keeper design, though I've used no actual files from him.
