Sometimes a single button is enough for the task, but other times multiple buttons are necessary. This project involves designing and building a fully enclosed Bluetooth controller using 3D printing technology. It relies on a METRO 328 microcontroller as well as a rechargeable LiPoly battery for its power supply. To interact with Livestream Studio effectively, a serial connection was established between the Bluefruit EZ-Key device and several MCP23017 I2C expanders, leading to the inclusion of various button options: arcade-style buttons, standard pushbuttons, plus more. Check out our step-by-step tutorial at http://learn.adafruit.com/bluelive. To optimize printing results: • Include a raft in your print job. • Print at a slow pace to minimize warping or distortion in the resulting 3D model.
