Yummm blueberries! Picking them is so much easier with this awesome little tool, or print a couple and share them with your loved ones - literally! I used flexible copper wire to connect through all the holes, with a diameter of just .1in according to my trusty calipers. With some needle-nose pliers, I was able to bend it around the corner, making it versatile and extending its lifespan. Now I need to design a funnel to empty this tool directly into my mouth! Wow, after using this incredible tool for 6 hours straight, I'm amazed at how long it lasted before one of the "sharp" pieces broke! Last year, picking with two people took about the same amount of time, and we only filled one drawer of our refrigerator. But with this amazing tool, I picked over twice as much - not to mention the ease of separating small green berries by dumping them in water and watching the green ones float! Next step: solving the problem of leaves sticking out, which was my main headache. Now that I've finished all of my blueberries for the year and they're stored safely frozen, I can enjoy a healthy snack throughout the winter.
